📅 12 October 2026 · ✅ Last verified: 28 October 2026 · 📖 5 min · Registration & Legal

Closed: The PPRA supplier-registration call for financial years 2026/27 and 2027/28 closed on Wednesday, 21 October 2026 at 11:59 pm EAT, according to the notice and form checked on 12 October 2026. This guide now serves as preparation for a future call; it does not imply that PPRA has announced a reopening. The checklist below describes the closed call and future requirements may differ.

About the closed PPRA registration call

Registration closed: Do not submit against this expired call. For any future call, confirm its dates, eligibility, required attachments and form instructions on PPRA’s official page; future requirements may differ.

This guide covers that PPRA registration exercise only. It is not an application for an AGPO certificate, does not create an e-Government Procurement (e-GP) supplier profile for you, and is not a bid for a particular tender. The PPRA form asks applicants for both proof of e-GP supplier registration and a valid AGPO certificate.[35]

The live form estimates that completion takes about five minutes. Have your required profile and certificate ready before starting.[35]

Check that you have the prerequisites

The closed call was for eligible AGPO suppliers in the Youth, Women, and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) groups.[34] On the form, select the group shown on your valid AGPO certificate. This guide does not decide whether your business qualifies for AGPO; check the current AGPO service for certification questions.[35][36]

You will need:

  • your e-GP supplier number and supplier profile; the PPRA form says the profile can be downloaded or printed from the e-GP portal as a PDF;[35]
  • a valid AGPO certificate that matches the group you select;[35]
  • the supplier/business name as it appears on its business-registration documents;[35]
  • the business KRA PIN, business registration number, physical address, phone number in the format requested by the form (2547XXXXXXXX or 2541XXXXXXXX; the form says 07… and 01… entries are converted automatically), and a valid supplier/business email address;[35]
  • the category or categories of items your business supplies.[35]

PPRA states that all categories on this form are reserved under AGPO, so both the e-GP supplier profile and valid AGPO certificate are required.[35]

The rendered form checked on 12 October 2026 accepts PDF, JPG or PNG files up to 2 MB each. Check the live form for any later change.[35]

If you do not yet have an e-GP supplier profile, use the official e-GP supplier-registration page.[37] e-GP advises suppliers to update information with relevant agencies such as BRS, KRA and NRB before starting; mismatched records may cause an e-GP application to be rejected.[37] The e-GP service also has its own documentation and authorised-person requirements; check its full official list before starting, particularly if someone is completing account setup on behalf of the supplier.[37] If you do not have a valid AGPO certificate, check the separate AGPO service before starting the PPRA form.[36]

Submit the PPRA form

  1. For any later call, use only the notice and form published for that call; do not assume this form remains current. See PPRA’s official supplier-registration page.[34][35]
  2. Enter the supplier name, KRA PIN, registration number, contact details and physical address requested by the form; review each field for accuracy before continuing.[35]
  3. Select the AGPO group that matches your valid certificate, then select only the relevant supply categories. The form’s category choices depend on the group selected.[35]
  4. Upload the e-GP supplier profile and matching AGPO certificate in one of the formats the live form accepts.[35]
  5. For the closed 2026/27–2027/28 call, the historical deadline was 11:59 pm EAT on 21 October 2026. For a new call, follow its own deadline and instructions in PPRA’s notice and live form.[34][35]
  6. Save or print the acknowledgement page. Keep the registration reference and amendment code private: the form says the code can be used to change the registration before the call closes, and anyone with it can make that change.[35]

If you have a question about an application, PPRA’s form directs applicants to email procurement@ppra.go.ke and quote the registration reference.[35]

Keep the three registrations separate

  • AGPO certificate — the PPRA form requires a valid certificate; this PPRA application does not replace it.[35][36]
  • e-GP supplier registration creates the supplier profile that this PPRA form asks you to provide.[35][37]
  • A tender bid is a separate response to a specific tender notice, with its own eligibility conditions, documents and closing time. Completing this PPRA form does not submit a tender bid.[34][35]
